- boyfriend at the university of virginia back in 2010. abc 2news covered the trial of george hugeley who was convicted of murder and he sat down with love to talk about it. >> reporter: sharon and her family including yardly's sister formed the one love foundation in response to the murder and it's impressive what they have been able to do in a short amount of time. we caught up with sharon as she was shooting a promo for the foundation. they are trying to get the word out about domestic violence, especially against young women. this is a look at public service announcement they have done and they are offering a smart phone app that you can use to assess whether you or someone you know is in a dangerous relationship. now during his -- sentencing hearing, he addressed the love family saying he was sorry for their loss and hopes and prays they found peace. >> when he -- had he just not said anything. his appearance when we first found him was different than what i knew him to look like. he was -- he had gone into a young boy again and he was presented that way. >> reporter: sharon believe
